Agenția pentru Dezvoltare Regională Vest a anunțat joi, 19 septembrie 2024, implementarea proiectului „PACT4.0WEST”, care are ca obiectiv transformarea Regiunii Vest într-o regiune cu zero emisii de carbon până în 2050.
Potrivit comunicatului, aplicația ADR Vest pentru Regiunea Vest a fost selectată să facă parte din cele 40 care vor intra în acest program european, dintr-un număr total de 164 de aplicații.
Regiunea Vest va beneficia de suportul Uniunii Europene, prin intermediul EIT Climate KIC și proiectul Pathways2Resilience, în elaborarea unei strategii pentru un viitor rezilient la schimbările climatice, în conformitate cu obiectivele stabilite la nivel european. Strategia de adaptare și reziliență climatică va fi elaborată prin promovarea implicării și guvernanței colaborative, dar și prin dezvoltarea de instrumente electronice inteligente.
